Cheers to Tshawn "Saltfish" Walwyn - The Walking Saltifsh-Ball Entrepreneur

A day isn't a day without seeing Tshawn "Saltfish" Walwyn travelling back and forth through the streets of Basseterre, St. Kitts, usually by foot, selling his Saltfish-Balls from his brown paper bag. You can buy a bag for EC$10 / US$3.75 or you can get a single Saltfish-Ball.

The smile in the picture above is the very same smile he gives to his customers while he serves them and makes change. Dare 2 Be Different International must recognise this youth for ensuring that he is properly occupied in his own business and staying out of trouble and ambitious. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I see some new faces carrying brown paper bags now a days, probably he has employees too to cover his Basseterre, St. Kitts - market.

One day, Tshawn will probably own a little Saltfish Deli somewhere. His customers, like myself and Dare 2 Be Different Team will be able to buy all types of Saltfish Delicacies. Until then, you can call him at 869-665-7343 when you need a bag of the Salt-Fish balls or if you need finger foods for weddings and other events.

The youth is doing a good job, that is why Dare 2 Be Different's Mission Mobilization Project http://www.mmskn.org/ (a programme geared to help youth start businesses or grow them or market them, feels comfortable in inducting him into part of our Business Youth Family) Very soon, you'll be seeing him in shirts bearing his logo, compliments our Printing Partner & Sponsor - http://www.thecaribbeanprintshop.com/.

Cheers to this youth - We wish you all the success in the world. You made it to The Global Spotlight!
